So why start such a blog? Because so often in modern society we are praised for our perfected and polished selves without appreciating the real and imperfect process it took to get there. We have forgotten the power that comes with our human fallibility, instead altering ourselves for broader social appeal. In doing so, we have grown unaware or ignorant of the sea of conformity steadily rising as a result.

I hope to offer an alternative to this pursuit of a singular ideal and instead speak to what I perceive as humanity's greatest strength - authenticity in its many manifestations.
